1. VISIT PALÁCIO DO DEÃO

The Palácio do Deão is a palatial mansion in Quepem which was developed in the 1780s

3. GO ON ROAD TRIPS

4. ATTEND A SILENT PARTY

A jeep safari into the center of the sanctuary provides you an audience with leopards, deer, hyena and bison. You can speak to the range forest officer to receive permission for vehicle access through the Main Gate. 7. LOOK FOR RARE PLANTS IN COTIGAO WILDLIFE SANCTUARY

This refuge in Canacona is a forest of multi-storey flora along with a treasure trove of rare plants. Deciduous trees fill the woods with a few patches of semi- evergreen and evergreen trees. 11. ADMIRE THE ARCHITECTURE OF HERITAGE MANSIONS

12. THRILL YOURSELF WITH WATER SPORTS IN SOUTH GOA BEACHES

15. PRAY AT A TEMPLE OR THREE

Perhaps unknown to visitors, South Goa boasts an assortment of structures, with the earliest dating to the 12th century. Tamdi Surla Temple, also called Mahadev Temple, is constructed in the Jain design and is carved from basalt stone. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the shrine features bas-relief figures of Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma. In Margao, the Chandranath Temple, also dedicated to Lord Shiva, is situated on the top of a hillock and is designed so the linga is bathed in moonlight on each full moon.
